Legal & Privacy
Terms of Service
These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of the services provided by MoldSight Inc. (“MoldSight,” “we,” “us,” or “our”), a company incorporated under the laws of Delaware, USA.
By accessing or using MoldSight's predictive quality control platform, sensor integration tools, edge inference hardware, and related services (collectively, the “Services”), you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Services.
1. Use of Services
You may use the Services only in compliance with these Terms and all applicable laws. You are responsible for ensuring that your use of MoldSight complies with your organization's internal policies and any applicable industry regulations, including but not limited to ISO 9001, IATF 16949, and other quality management standards.
2. Data & Sensor Information
You retain ownership of all sensor data, production data, and process parameters that you provide to MoldSight. We process this data solely to deliver the Services, including defect prediction, drift detection, and quality analytics. We do not sell your production data to third parties.
3. Edge Hardware
Where MoldSight provides edge inference hardware as part of the Services, such hardware remains the property of MoldSight Inc. unless otherwise agreed in writing. You are responsible for providing appropriate power, network connectivity, and physical security for deployed hardware.
4. Service Availability
Edge inference operates independently of cloud connectivity. Cloud-based analytics, model retraining, and fleet management features require internet connectivity and are subject to reasonable maintenance windows. We target 99.9% uptime for cloud services but do not guarantee uninterrupted availability.
5. Limitation of Liability
MoldSight provides predictive quality insights as decision-support tools. Predictions and alerts are probabilistic and should not be the sole basis for production decisions. MoldSight Inc. is not liable for defective parts that pass through production, nor for production losses resulting from false positive alerts.
6. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of Delaware, USA, without regard to conflict of law principles.
Privacy Policy
MoldSight Inc. (“MoldSight”) is committed to protecting the privacy of our customers and users. This Privacy Policy describes how we collect, use, and protect information when you use our Services.
Information We Collect
We collect information you provide directly (name, email, company information) and operational data from connected sensors and machines (pressure curves, temperature profiles, cycle timing, machine parameters). Sensor data is processed primarily at the edge and synced to cloud infrastructure for analytics and model improvement.
How We Use Information
We use collected information to provide and improve the Services, including defect prediction, drift detection, root cause analysis, and quality analytics. We may use aggregated, anonymized production data to improve our machine learning models. We do not sell personal information or identifiable production data to third parties.
Data Security
We implement industry-standard security measures including encryption in transit (TLS 1.3) and at rest (AES-256), role-based access controls, and regular security audits. Edge devices communicate with cloud services over encrypted channels.
Data Retention
Data retention periods vary by plan (30 days for Line, 90 days for Plant, unlimited for Enterprise). Upon termination of service, we will provide data export capabilities and delete your data within 90 days unless legally required to retain it.
